Frequently asked questions.
Do you provide in-person sessions, virtual therapy, or both?
I provide both in person and online sessions depending on the type of session, your preference and needs. I provide in-person therapy in Westlake Village.
Online sessions are conducted over HIPAA-compliant Zoom video conference.
What is the cancellation/missed appointment policy?
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged the full session fee. No-show sessions will be charged the full session fee.
How long are the sessions?
Sessions are 45-53 minutes long.
Do you take insurance?
I am in network with select insurance panels. If I am not in network with your insurance, I provide superbills to submit to your insurance for reimbursement depending on your out of network benefits. I have partnered with a platform called Thrizer to help clients use their out of network benefits by verifying benefits and handling the full claims process with the insurance.
Please use the Thrizer Widget below to check your Real-Time-Out-of-Network benefits and potential costs of therapy without calling your insurance.

What is a good faith estimate?
Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate of Expected Charges
YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO RECEIVE A “GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE” EXPLAINING HOW MUCH YOUR MEDICAL CARE WILL COST
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
